I feel like there are many lists of how to find work from home jobs for beginners, but they all feel so generic and don’t have many actual feasible jobs for you to take up.

Working from home has never been easier than it is now, with the global pandemic many companies have decided to follow a work from home approach, but of course, it’s not possible in all industries

Working from home does not always mean working for yourself, in many cases you might end up working more than you would have, but now you’re no longer bound to a specific geographic region, you can live anywhere and work.

You actually don’t even need any items to sell, you can get started with Dropshipping, where you’re the middle man, selling someone else’s stock. It has a very low barrier to entry, so pick your products well to gain a competitive edge.

If it is not clear by now, YouTube can be an incredible source of income, it’s not an easy job, and you will be putting in a lot of hours, editing your videos. But it will be worth it once you start making money from it.

As with all things that required no experience, the competition levels are high, so you either need a unique twist or just plain better content than your competitors.

If you have the personality for it, playing games and streaming it on Twitch, can generate plenty of income.

Then all you need to do is get some clients, which you can do by reaching out to people directly or creating funnels to bring people to your website or by creating some Facebook target ads.

If you don’t want the pressure of creating your own consultancy, you can always work as a web designer for someone else.

2. Work from home jobs in Healthcare

There are some really great options for work from home jobs healthcare, with the industry increasing fairly well over the past years.

Medical Transcriptionist: Having a firm understanding of medical terminology, medical transcriptionists make written documents based on a physician’s dictations. You will be listening to doctors’ recordings and writing or typing them out to create medical records.

Call center representative: In the medical field, the call center representatives are mostly made up of registered nurses. You’ll be consulting with clients over the phone or with some videoconferencing software.

There are truly many to choose from, and with the times changing expect to see more and more employers converting to at least a hybrid approach, where employees only go into work occasionally.

So the question: are work from home jobs real? The answer is clearly yes.

What jobs can you do from home that pays well?

The income from a work from home job will depend on your level of experience if you’re experienced and in a field where you work on a computer most of the day anyway, I suggest having discussions with your employer to move towards a work from home basis.

There are jobs you can do that requires little to no experience at all, that can earn you a decent income, one of which would be to start a blog, twitch, or youtube channel. But these can be hard and take some time to build up a good enough income to quit your day job.

Another option is to start flipping items on eBay or any other second-hand dealer or to do jobs on Fiverr.

You could also try your hand at selling items in the e-commerce space, you can easily get started with a Dropshipping model, where you don’t actually need any stock, you’re selling someone else’s items.

Can you work from home with no experience?

Yes, you can get started with absolutely no experience, if you have the time and patience then I would suggest either starting a blog, an online store, or going into making videos on the likes of YouTube, or Twitch.

Otherwise, there are plenty of gig jobs, but your income will vary and it will still take a bit of time to build a name for yourself.

Are work from home jobs scams?

I would not say any of them are outright scams, but of course, there might be some that are pure bullshit. Do your research before spending your time on an online job, make sure it is real.

There are many people making a good income online, so it’s clearly not a scam at all.

One thing you should note is that online jobs won’t always lead to less stress or fewer working hours.


Working from your home is liberating, you don’t need to spend any more time in the office, and you’re free to live literally anywhere. You do need to practice mental awareness, to ensure your spirits remain high since you won’t be traveling much, and your brain needs stimulation.
